Plattform für Kunst und Kultur

2004 wurde der Verein QUELLE gegründet mit dem Ziel das Ateliergebäude in der Quellenstraße 149, 1100 Wien einer breiteren Öffentlichkeit zugänglich zu machen und den 10. Bezirk verstärkt als Schauplatz zeitgenössischer Kunst- und Musikproduktion bekannt zu machen. Die Ateliergemeinschaft aus der der Verein hervorgegangen ist, zeichnet sich vor allem durch seine Funktion als Schnittstelle zwischen Kunst und Musik aus: Proberäume finden hier ebenso Platz wie Atelierräume, was sich auch auf die Programmatik des Vereins niederschlägt (siehe vergangene Projekte).

Platform for art and culture

In 2004 we founded the association "Quelle" to make the studio-complex 1100 Vienna, Quellenstrassee 149, known to a larger segment of the public and to promote the tenth district of Vienna as a focal point of contemporary art and music. The group of studios which formed the basis of the association is characterized through its function as an interface between fine arts and music: at the "Quelle" you find practice rooms for musicians and studios for artists, a symbiosis which influences the programs of the association (see list of past projects).
